A collage of sounds recorded at the Occupy Wall Street November 17th "Day of Action" protests in New York. All sounds were recorded on an iPhone using its built in microphone.
Highlights include the arrest of former Philadelphia police captain Ray Lewis, a four generation "peoples mic" spanning four street corners around the corner from the NYSE (as well as some that didn't make it so far), "Fuck the NYPD" chants, audio from the enormous rally at foley square and numerous other chants, slogans, angry protesters and people just trying to squeeze through the massive crowds to get to work.
No sounds were modified in any way other than being arranged out of chronological order and in some cases layered on top of each other.
